Israeli company ORBIT Communication Systems Ltd., has announced that it has won an $11 million contract with an unnamed East-Asian country. ORBIT will supply the country with a comprehensive solution, which has to do with its satellite-based tracking technology.
Israeli company Elbit Systems Ltd. has won a contract to provide Italian satellite OPSAT 3000′s space camera. The deal, worth $40 million will be completed within three and a half years and will be carried out by Elbit’s subsidiary Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd.
Ness Technologies, an Israeli global provider of information technology services and solutions, announced that it has won a five-year outsourcing contract to manage and maintain Mul-T-Lock‘s information systems. The contract is valued at approximately $2.6 million, including Mul-T-Lock’s IT infrastructure as well as various applications.
Ormat Technologies announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Ormat Nevada, concluded and signed a $61.4 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with Enel Green Power North America. Under the EPC contract, Ormat will provide two air-cooled Ormat Energy Converters at Enel’s Cove Fort geothermal power plant project in southern Utah. Ormat Technologies develops geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants around the world.
Elbit Systems announced that its wholly-owned Israeli subsidiary Cyclone was awarded an approximately$80 million contract for the supply of structural components to The Boeing Company. The contract will be performed over seven years. Elbit Systems is a defense electronics company, which operates in the areas of aerospace, land and naval systems, computers, intelligence surveillance, as well as developing new technologies for defense, homeland security and commercial aviation applications. The company is based in Israel.
