    Web Giant Conduit Mergers With Email Service PerionIsraeli browser-toolbar startup Conduit, estimated to be worth $1.4 billion, has announced that it is merging with Israeli email provider Perion Network, worth $153 million. The financial data of the transaction was not disclosed.

    The companies’ CEOs said in a statement:

    Josef Mandelbaum, Perion’s CEO, commented, “This is a transformational event for our company, and a powerful combination for our employees and shareholders. This is truly a case where one plus one equals three. Our businesses complement each other and will enable us to increase investment in our monetization and distribution platform, mobile efforts, display advertising and product innovation. I am very happy to welcome all the talented Client Connect employees to Perion and look forward to continuing to build on the great success they have achieved to date.”

    Ronen Shilo, CEO and co-founder of Conduit, added, “We couldn’t be happier with this combination. Perion is a thriving, public company that shares our values of entrepreneurship and integrity. I have known Josef for a long time, and I can think of no one better equipped to take Client Connect forward.”

    Powermat Acquires PowerKissIsraeli wireless charging company Powermat is acquiring a major competitor, Finnish company PowerKiss. The two companies announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement to combine their companies under the Powermat Technologies umbrella.

    3D Printers Manufacturer ‘Objet’ Merges With ‘Stratasys’ 

    Objet - News Flash - IsraelStratasys and Objet, two companies specializing in the manufacturing of 3D printers, announced a definitive merger agreement under which the companies would combine in an all-stock transaction with a combined equity value of approximately $1.4 billion. The combined company, which will operate under the name Stratasys Ltd., will have dual headquarters in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and Rehovot, Israel, the locations of Stratasys’ and Objet’s current headquarters, respectively. The company will be registered in Israel.
